Finshed the series

Well, I just finished the last Harry Potter book last night and I must say that it was enjoyable. I am definitely going to miss the series that I grew up with, but I am happy to say that it ended pretty well. I must admit that I was hoping for a bit more when it came down to the end, but I am glad that the it all came to a close in a tactful and well-thought-out fashion. Although, I would enjoy a little more info about the lives of the characters after the end of the book, as in how things have changed and etc., but that would most likely take away from the intrigue that this book has brought all of us. With that, I bid farewell to a masterful series and hope that I can find another that brings me a comparable amount of joy to read.

1 of millions of console posts

Seeing as every blog in creation has been talking about video game consoles, I figure I might as well throw my hat into the ring. personally, I own 2 of the 3 next-gen systems, the Wii and the X-Box 360. The latter of which I won in a mountain dew contest. I enjoy owning both of the consoles and have yet to experience any of the common problems associated them. I have yet to see the "red ring of death" or experience any "Wiinjuries." Knock-on-wood.
My reasons for getting a Wii, were mostly due to its affordability and unique style. I will admit, however, that I have grown tired of the Wii due to a lack of games that interest me, but I still find myself digging out Wii Sports every once in a while. For the price, its a great party system. dig it out every now and again to play with a group of friends. Just don't expect many single player games to be worth your time.
The 360 is something that I never expected to own. I had always thought it was a bit too expensive. however, after playing it for as long as I have and seeing all of the great games; I'd have to say that it is well worth the money. And now, with the dawn of Halo 3 approaching, I am truly grateful that I own such a wondrous machine.
Everything I have to say about the PS3 consists of here say and generic info. It is an expensive machine that most people use for movies rather than games. However, with the expected and now occurring price drop, coupled with a future Final Fantasy release, the PS3 is bound to sell exceedingly well. I still wish the controllers still had the rumble though.

Fragile Camera is Fragile

A while back I bought a lomographic camera from OpticsPlanet. To be more specific, I bought a Lomographic Super Sampler 4 lens Film Camera.

I figured, "Heck, this seems like it could be pretty cool." So, I forked over some cash and got my camera a few weeks later. The packaging was pretty neat, and it came with a nice photo book and A ROLL OF FILM. Amazing, it's even better than seeing BATTERIES INCLUDED on a box. Of course, I just had to try it out. I took pictures of everything that moved at both speed settings just so I could develop the images. Unfortunately, most of my pictures sucked due to the lack of flash on the camera. It was a learning experience, so I just bought another roll of film and moved on. Unfortunately, (again) the camera somehow broke in my quest to get the film out. Needless to say, I was pissed. I quickly called up the Lomographic society, listed in the instructions, only to get someones personal phone. So, I decided to send them and e-mail. No response. I was stuck with a hunk of plastic that worked like crap. My only recourse, jerry-rig the hell out of it. Its a monstrosity now, but it sorta works.

Now, I hate to put down the camera, because the concept is fun. I would however recommend a better camera, maybe the one on thinkgeek. However, I would have to rate the SUPER SAMPLER as a no-go. Don't waste your money.
I have just applied for what could very well be my dream job; Advertising (to some degree) for Mountain Dew around my college. YAY Mountain Dew swag, yay mountain dew, and yay source of income. Which, will probably be used to purchase mountain dew.

I promise I will only say this once, but I implore everyone to get Firefox. For the love of god, stay away from Internet explorer. Thank you.

Just started yay!

Well here it is. I started this for no particular reason, just because I'm heading off to college soon and had nothing else to do anyway. Not sure what I'll do with this yet, but I'm sure it will be rather mediocre.
